By joining ABC Pelican, we are positioning ourselves alongside other respected construction firms to strengthen relationships, foster innovation, and contribute to the collective progress of our industry. Inside the Post Road WWTP Project in Carencro, LA

Through our video series, we’re showcasing the step-by-step progress of one of the region’s most impactful municipal projects.

The Post Road Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Carencro represents one of the most significant infrastructure investments in the region, and our team is proud to not only build it—but to share its progress with the community every step of the way. Through our ongoing video series, we are capturing early advancements across the jobsite, from initial groundwork to critical structural phases, offering a transparent look into the precision, coordination, and effort required to deliver a project of this scale. This initiative reflects our belief that large infrastructure projects should not happen behind the scenes—they should be visible, understood, and appreciated by the communities they serve.

As construction continues, our goal is to set a higher standard for how projects are communicated within the industry. By opening the door to real-time progress and behind-the-scenes execution, we are strengthening the connection between the work being done and the people it impacts—ensuring that the citizens of Carencro can see firsthand how their city is being built for the future.

Supporting Our Community Beyond the Jobsite

From honoring veterans to rallying behind our own, our team showed up where it matters most this quarter.

This quarter, our team showed up where it matters most—within the communities we’re proud to be part of. We had the opportunity to attend Operation Smoke Show in support of the Student Veterans Organization at UL Lafayette, honoring the men and women who have served our country and continue to lead within our communities. We also took part in the Jeanerette Creole Festival & Gumbo Cookoff, celebrating the culture, connection, and local pride that make South Louisiana unique. These events reflect our belief that being part of a community means more than just working in it—it means showing up and giving back.

Most importantly, our team came together to support one of our own. Jimmy Armstrong, known by many from his time with Babineaux Plumbing, Inc., is currently battling ALS. A BBQ benefit cookoff held in Houma brought together an incredible turnout of friends, family, and team members from across Southern Organizations—all united to support Jimmy and his family. It was a powerful reminder that at the core of everything we do is people. Moments like these reinforce the strength of our team and the importance of standing together, on and off the jobsite. #JIMBOSTRONG

Redefining What It Means to Support Our Workforce

With a state-of-the-art gym facility, we’re investing in the health, performance, and longevity of our team.

As we continue to grow, our focus extends beyond the projects we build to the people who make them possible. This quarter, Southern Organizations introduced a state-of-the-art gym facility for all team members—an investment rooted in the belief that a stronger workforce builds stronger projects. Construction is a demanding industry, and prioritizing health, recovery, and overall well-being is essential to maintaining performance, safety, and long-term success both in the field and in the office.

This initiative reflects a broader commitment to raising the standard of what it means to support a workforce in construction. By creating an environment that promotes physical health, discipline, and accountability, we are not only investing in our team, but also in the quality of work we deliver. As the industry continues to evolve, we believe companies that prioritize their people will lead the way—and we’re proud to be setting that example.

Projects Completed. Commitments Delivered.

From infrastructure to renovations, our team continues to deliver quality projects that serve our communities and clients.

This quarter, Southern Organizations successfully delivered several key projects that reflect the range and capability of our teams. The Peebles Coulee Water Control Structure stands as a critical piece of infrastructure, improving drainage and long-term flood control for the surrounding community. At Ross Bus, our team completed renovation work with a focus on quality, coordination, and bringing new life to the facility. Meanwhile, the Pepperplex Access Road project improved site accessibility and laid the groundwork for continued development in the area.

Each of these projects required a unique approach, but all shared the same commitment to precision, efficiency, and execution. From civil infrastructure to building renovations and site development, our ability to self-perform and adapt across scopes continues to drive results for our clients. As we move forward, these completed projects serve as a clear representation of the standard we bring to every job—delivering work that is built to last and aligned with the needs of the communities we serve.
