Project Manager - Commercial Division
Location: South Louisiana (projects vary)
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive salary + vehicle allowance (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee plumbing and utility projects from planning to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and field crews. This role requires strong leadership, technical plumbing knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities

Lead plumbing projects including new construction, remodels, and utility tie-ins.

Develop project budgets, estimates, and schedules.

Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.

Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor services.

Oversee RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.

Support foremen and field crews to ensure productivity and quality.

Foster strong client relationships and represent Babineaux Plumbing with professionalism.
Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience in plumbing, piping, or utility construction.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation methods.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required).

Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber certification a plus.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project management/scheduling software.

OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
