Project Manager - Municipal Sewer & Water Division
Location: South Louisiana (projects vary)
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive salary + vehicle allowance (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in municipal sewer and water construction. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of assigned projects — from estimating and bidding, through planning, execution, and close-out. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, municipalities, subcontractors, and field crews.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage sewer, water, and utility infrastructure projects from start to finish.

Prepare project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.

Coordinate with city officials, inspectors, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with municipal codes and project specifications.

Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.

Monitor project progress, control costs, and manage changes/claims.

Ensure all work complies with OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and local permitting requirements.

Prepare project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.

Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, municipal, or utility construction (sewer/water preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Strong knowledge of municipal standards, DOT specs, and utility installation practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets of $1M–$20M+.

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).

PE license or PMP certification is a plus.
